After graduating summa cum laude from West Virginia University and obtaining a doctorate of jurisprudence from West Virginia University College of Law, John K. Cecil clerked for the Honorable O.C. Spaulding, former Chief Judge for the 29th Circuit in Putnam County, West Virginia.  Following his clerkship, Mr. Cecil’s has focused his practice on litigation.  Mr. Cecil has successfully represented individuals, governmental entities and corporations in both state and federal courts in a variety of cases ranging from contractual disputes to wrongful death actions.
