Jennifer is delighted to serve as the newest associate at Hendrickson & Long, PLLC, one of the 2026 Best Law Firms ranked by Best Lawyers.  When studying in law school, Jennifer joined the National Lawyers Guild, volunteered with The Innocence Project, helped charter the nation’s first student chapter of the International Alliance of Holistic Lawyers, and hosted and mentored visiting minority students.  Already enrolled in graduate school at the time, Jennifer defended her master’s thesis and graduated from law school in the same semester, walking in both hooding ceremonies in the same week.

Jennifer brings more than twenty years of legal experience to the firm, most recently focusing on addressing elder abuse, having been certified by the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security in responding to elder abuse cases.  Her prior areas of practice and focus include banking and finance, administrative law, insurance defense, and medical malpractice.  However, so far, her favorite legal experiences have been facilitating adoptions.

Outside of work, Jennifer previously served on the Board of the West Virginia International Film Festival, and she is super proud to be recognized as one of the original founders and  continuing supporters of the WVIFF’s Floralee Hark Cohen Cinema.  She also volunteers each year with FestivALL, when the “city becomes a work of art.”
